Hi Visitor,

August is here, and as always, we have a list of reasons for you to get out and drive your Porsche. We've got autocrossing for the Cone-Killer in you, and a rally for your adventuring spirit. You can get ready to drive really, really fast at a DE event next month, or you can just go enjoy the sunshine at a car show. But before you go, make sure you check out this month's Northlander issue.

Rally Event #4 - Roads, Laps, and Lunch

Saturday, 18 August 2018 08:30am

NCR Rally Event #4 -- Roads, Laps and Lunch

Beginning in Intervale, NH, an unincorporated community located on the boundary between the towns of Bartlett and Conway in the White Mountains, our Roads, Laps, and Lunch tour leaves behind the hustle and bustle of Conway and heads for the curvaceous pleasures of two-lane travel over roads to please in our thoroughbred steeds. We’ll make our way to Bear Notch Rd and the Kancamagus Highway before leaving Conway to the north and heading to the lesser-traveled Porsche-friendly roads of the agrarian environs south and west of the White Mountains National Forest. The day’s destination will be Club Motorsports in Tamworth, NH, allowing us the very rare opportunity to drive Parade Laps on their absolutely exquisite track. From Club Motorsports a repast to end our day is a short drive up Routes 25 and 16 to Hobbs Tavern. A late and laid-back lunch among friends awaits. Planning for this event courtesy of Walt Rankin and Dana Russian.

Registration is open only for NCR Members in good standing until July 20. On July 20, registration will open to PCA members in good standing. If you are an NCR or PCA member in good standing and encounter problems with your registration, please contact the Rally Chair ASAP ( so we can sort out the problem. If you are not an NCR member, please consider joining.

Club Motorsports

Three day event including National Instructor DE Training

Located just northeast of Lake Winnipesaukee on Route 25 in Tamworth, Club Motorsports is less than 30 minutes from some of the best hotels and restaurants in North Conway and Meredith.

This year our three day event lands just after Labor Day and before the leaf peepers invade so there will be plenty of rooms available.

2.5 miles in length with a 40 ft wide surface, 15 turns, undulating  250 ft elevation changes, this track provides a thrilling driving experience as well  scenic views of Mt Chocorua and the White Mountains.

Friday is an advanced day for Red, Black and White run groups (expect two and one half hours of track time). Ellen Beck, from PCA National will also conduct the National Instructor DE Training Program on Friday.

On Saturday there will be a paddock party and track walk after 5 PM. Bring your cameras for some great photo opportunities.
