When: Sunday, October 2, 2011, 9:00 am
Starting: McDonald’s, Exit 9, Rte. 89, Warner, NH
Ending: The Flying Goose Brew Pub, 40 Andover Rd, New London, NH Rally Masters: Edgar & Nancy Broadhead and Jim & Deb Gratton
Please join us for a tour of the Sunapee Lakes Region during the fall foliage season. This is a gimmick rally which will cover approximately 80 miles and last 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We will cover some great country roads with beautiful views of mountains and lakes that promise to be colorful with foliage.
Registration will take place at 9:00 am with a drivers’ meeting at 9:30. First car off will be at 9:45 am. Cost is $10.00 per car which will be collected at registration. Please pre-register with your intent to attend and how many people will be with you. It is essential that we give the restaurant an accurate count. The restaurant is trying to accommodate us during the peak foliage time.
RSVP by Wed., Sept. 28th to Jim and Deb Gratton: firstname.lastname@example.org or 207.985.2999
Please keep in mind that there are basic rules to be followed for rallies. No smart phones, GPS equipment, or computers may be used according to the PCA non-equipped rally guidelines. Traditional rallies need to rely on your observational skills, and these restrictions level the playing field for all participants. Besides, it is much more fun this way!
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
FYI: There are gas stations and a Dunkin Donuts at Exit 9, also.
