Season Opener

Friday, 20 April 2018 07:00am - Sunday, 22 April 2018 05:00pm

After waiting the winter out, it is time to pull off the cover, finish up those procrastinated upgrades or swap the sno tires for the sticky stuff and come out and work off the winter rust. Come join us for our traditional NHMS Season Opener April 20th - 22nd.

Friday is for Red, Black and White run groups only. We expect at least two and a half hours of track time for each group, so start doing those exercise now.

Saturday is a special day for beginners or those with just a few track days under their belt. For those who have never attended a DE and who would like to learn about it in a safe and low stress environment. Includes extended classroom sessions in performance driving techniques, skid pad and slalom training and track time with a PCA instructor. While we will be running a normal DE for the other run groups, those in the beginners group, will have their morning split between class room sessions and a Car Control Clinic. The afternoon will have the beginner group participating in the DE track activities.

On Saturday evening kick back and relax with your fellow drivers to share the day's stories and experiences at a special social dinner event.

The dining event requires advanced reservations.

Saturday and Sunday are open to all run groups.

Come enjoy this amazing NASCAR facility with a very challenging road course.  This track will make you a better driver – guaranteed.

Rally Event #1 - Hildene & Manchester, VT

Saturday, 12 May 2018 09:30am

Join fellow Porsche enthusiasts on a season-opening Spring drive from Keene, NH into Vermont along low-traffic back roads with twisty sections to delight. Our destination is Manchester, VT, where we will have time in the afternoon for you to explore any of a number of the village's offerings, including: Hildene (home of Robert Todd Lincoln); the Orvis Flagship Store; the American Museum of Fly Fishing; Manchester Hot Glass glassblowing studio; and eclectic village shops. We will stop en route for an early lunch at the Fullerton Inn in Chester, VT, then drive additional Porsche-worthy roads before exploring what Manchester has to offer.

This rally event features an optional overnight stay, Saturday May 12, so you may further enjoy what Manchester has to offer. A block of 25 rooms (single king or two queen beds) at a discounted rate of $129 is being held until April 12 at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Manchester, VT. This new, centrally-located hotel has a pool, free WiFi, and a fitness center, and will provide segregated Porsche parking. If you wish to exercise this option, it is your responsibility to reserve your room by calling the hotel directly (802-362-4000, Ext 0 (not Ext 1)) or central booking (1-800-HAMPTON) or online (www.hampton.com). Use rate code "NCP" or mention Porsche Club Rally to obtain the discounted rate.  Book now to avoid disappointment.

For those spending the night, or those departing Manchester later in the evening, we are surveying interest in informal, impromptu dining arrangements. You will have the opportunity to indicate your interest during the registration process.

Assembly Point: Parking lot in front of Target store, 46 Ash Brook Rd, Monadnock Marketplace, Keene, NH.
Starbucks Coffee is available inside Target store.
