NCR Newsletter Issue # 903 | Monday, 24 February 2020
Summer will officially arrive this month, and events are well underway in every area of our club. NER is getting our track drivers in the game with a multiday event at Palmer this weekend, and now is the time to register for the TWO events being held next month. Each one is a solid excuse to order a new set of tires.
This weekend is the Spring Get-a-Way to Vermont, hosted by the Rally team. Those Rallies are popular events, and they are booked up all the way into the fall!
Autocrossers are overjoyed that they have two Porsche events this month, as NCR hosts its third event of the season and NER has its first.
But of course, before you head out to take on your rivals on their Rivals (or their Bridgestones), make sure you read the next edition of the Northlander. If you own a Cayenne or Macan, check out the special message on page 13. Or you can read about it on the front page of our website, because I just can't keep a secret.

Come join us for an summer DE at Lime Rock Park, the iconic road course located in the foothills of the scenic southern Berkshires.
We are hosting a two day Drivers Education event on Monday, July 22nd and Tuesday, Jul23rd at this well known and challenging track located in northwestern Connecticut. Both days will be full day sessions.
There will be a beer and wine social in the garage at the conclusion of Monday's sessions.
Here is another opportunity to participate in the NCR autocross series. A great chance to learn car control, compete with some friends, and have a great time. Located close by in Ayer, MA, this is the perfect chance to learn just how well your Porsche handles in a safe, controlled setting.
The event takes place at the Moore Airfield near Ayer, MA. We usually run a full loop course that is about a mile long. We have a great Novice program which includes guided course walks and instruction throughout the day. No experience is necessary!
Registration is open to any licensed driver. The cost is only $40 for PCA members, $45 for RMC members and $50 for non-members. Registration is limited to 80 entries.
Online registration is required (closes Wednesday night before the event). There will be no on-site registration.
Location : Moore Airfield
NCR Magical Mystery Tour, Sunday Aug 18th, launches from Lorden Plaza at the intersection of Routes 101 and 101A in Milford NH. In keeping with a mystery tour, details are not being revealed at this time, but because Marilyn and Rich Willey are the planners for this event, experienced club members know the drive will be enjoyable and the lunch venue pleasing. We will not be making an advance emailing of route instructions, but instead directions will be given out at the driver’s meeting. The most we will reveal at this time is that the destination lunch spot will be in south-central NH and convenient to major highways. Dining on the first floor of the restaurant provides easy access for all. Door prizes to be awarded via raffle ticket distributed when you sign in on the 18th.
Sign-In & Waivers: 9:00 AM Drivers Meeting: 9:30 AM Departure: 10:00 AM
If you are an active Rally participant, you know each event is unique. Some feature roads with a faster pace, others offer interesting destinations, and some combine both. If you have not yet sampled the NCR Rally Program, check out photos on the NCR website and in Northlander, then join us for your first event in 2019.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED. NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE.
