Berthold's 1999 Boxster
"This car is coming back to the dream for me. I bought my first Porsche at the tender age of 19 1/2 in 1979. It was an 8 year old, grass green, Porsche 911T. I got lots of laughs for that color, but loved it nevertheless, specially the carburetor sounds at traffic lights. :-) Then one day, on that lovely German Autobahn, I almost left this green earth trying to avoid a French 2CV (Duck) in the 3rd lane. Driving the Toy was never the same for me thereafter and so it had to go. :-( Exactly 25 years later I bought my second Toy. I decided it was time, the dream was lost for too long. Though it is not quite a 911, I enjoy driving the Toy with the top down immensely. And, did you notice? I still can't quite stay away from that green color, but this time it is a very special one.
